E.S. (Ted) Deacon was admitted to the California Bar, U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern and Central District Courts of California and U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit in 1987 after having obtained his B.A. from Humbolt State University and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Ted is a member of the American Bar Association, Sacramento County Bar Association, State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys of California,Consumer Attorneys of Sacramento and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Ted's principle areas of practice include: all aspects of personal injury including motor vehicle (car/truck), slip and fall, products liability, employee discrimination, sexual harassment both quid pro quo and hostile environment, civil rights violations and professional malpractice including medical and legal.
Ted successfully pursued an important products liability issue pertaining
to prescription drugs resulting in oral argument before the California Supreme
Court as reported in Carlin v. Superior Court (1996) 12 Cal. 4th 1104.
When not working, Ted enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, maintaining his home and yard, all water sports including competitive open water swimming, boating, skiing, surfing, body surfing and ocean fishing. He also enjoys the occasional golf game and snow skis as much as possible in the winter.
